About The Position

CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced VTC Technician (Level 2) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide variety of VTC equipment, including cameras, microphones, video displays, speakers, audio mixers, DVD players, video matrix switches, wires, and cables. Conduct site surveys to design and install A/V systems based on customer requirements. Perform routine operational tests and fault isolation on AV/VTC systems and equipment. Conduct regular preventative maintenance inspections of AV/VTC equipment. Empower users with knowledge and training on control, interfaces, and use of the audio/visual and VTC equipment. Develop plans for re-engineering and replacing legacy systems to improve customer productivity, enhance maintainability, and reduce costs. Ability to travel within the National Capital Region (NCR) in support of UC operations. Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs, crawl, and walk long distances. Proficient in Microsoft Visio and Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook). Thorough understanding of the Department of Defense (DoD) and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) VTC system requirements.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of comprehensive experience with VTC A/V (Audio & Video) systems. Alternatively, 7+ years of experience in VTC A/V systems without a Bachelor's degree.
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
  • Security+
  • ITIL Foundation and/or Practitioners Certificate
  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI (Sensitive Compartmented Information) eligibility.
