About The Position

The VSD Field Service Technician is responsible for maintaining and improving customer relationships, expanding product and industry knowledge, and collaborating with other personnel to optimize business opportunities. Key duties include performing various calculations related to ESP systems, delivering and installing equipment, ensuring accuracy of truck inventory, maintaining assigned vehicles and work areas, and completing all job-related forms and reports accurately and on time. The technician is also responsible for Levare-owned equipment and tools, performing preventative maintenance on surface equipment, accurately reporting information for DIFA processes, and troubleshooting submersible and HPS installations. The role requires adaptability to changing assignments and the flexibility to work overtime with short notice, while complying with Levare's TSM, Field Service, Product Bulletins, and Quality Assurance Directives. Maintaining daily timesheets and actively promoting and enforcing safety procedures are also critical aspects of this position.

Requirements

  • Good communication and strong problem solving skills
  • Clean driving record
  • Understand pump curves and be capable of accurate calculations
  • Excellent knowledge of HSE policies and guidelines
  • Physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations
  • High School diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ year of VSD experience preferred
  • Strong electrical experience preferred
  • Annual CPR / AED and Electrical Safety Training

Responsibilities

  • Comply with all safety rules and company policies of Levare.
  • Maintain and improve customer relationships with all customers.
  • Assist in the communication of market information to all appropriate departments.
  • Expand knowledge of the product, business and industry to better support the customer and to support career progression.
  • Work effectively with all other personnel to optimize business opportunities.
  • Perform HP, head and performance calculations.
  • Understand and apply the pump affinity laws to ESP systems, calculate system KVA requirements and voltage loss.
  • Deliver and install equipment as required.
  • Maintain truck inventory accuracy within 3% error.
  • Maintain assigned vehicle, inside and outside, and ensure regularly scheduled maintenance is completed.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in all work areas, including company truck.
  • Complete all job related forms and reports accurately, completely and in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for all Levare owned equipment and tools assigned.
  • Perform Preventative maintenance on surface equipment.
  • Accurately report in detail all information gathered for possible use in the DIFA process on ALL units pulled.
  • Troubleshoot submersible and HPS installations.
  • Quickly adjust to changing job assignments/requirements and the flexibility to work overtime with little or no notice.
  • Comply with Levare TSM (Technical Service Manual), Field Service and Product Bulletins.
  • Comply with Levare Quality Assurance Directive, Bulletins and Instructions.
  • Maintain daily timesheets.
  • Know and enforce safety and security procedures and proper use of equipment and material.
  • Actively promote safety process and report any safety issues to proper channels for action.
