Requirements

• Hold a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Can complete DCF hours within 90 Days of employment.
• Genuine empathy and understanding of children's needs and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and respond to changing circumstances.
• Capable of meeting the physical demands of working with children.

• Experience within a licensed center

Responsibilities

• Assist the VPK Lead Teacher, ensuring classroom activities align with Florida's Office of Early Learning and the VPK curriculum standards.
• Guide young learners, prioritizing their safety, well-being, and developmental growth.
• Plan engaging activities with the lead teacher.
• Foster strong, open communication with parents, nurturing positive relationships and supporting educational objectives.
