VP, Technology & Product Platform

TELYRX LLCSeattle, WA

About The Position

You build and run the platform the business grows on. Software and engineering, the commerce platform, cloud, IT, and security are yours, and you turn the roadmap into shipped product. You run two sub-orgs, Engineering and Infrastructure and Security, and you own the build capacity that Digital Experience and Product commission against. You own the platform capability; the outcomes it moves are owned in Commercial, and the seam between build and outcome is one you manage rather than argue. What you'll own: • Software and engineering, the commerce platform, cloud, IT, and security. • Two sub-orgs: Engineering, under the Lead Full Stack Engineer, and Infrastructure and Security, under the Senior Manager. • Platform uptime, release velocity, platform cost, and security posture. • The build capacity that Digital Experience and Product commission against, and the seam where a brief becomes shipped product. • The engineering growth path toward a manager layer, QA and automation, and DevOps as the org scales. What you'll do: • Build and run the platform, and turn the roadmap into shipped product. • Lead Engineering through the Lead Full Stack Engineer and Infrastructure and Security through the Senior Manager. • Own uptime, release velocity, security posture, and platform cost. • Ship the experience Digital Experience briefs and the launches Product readies. • Set the engineering standard, and keep quality and reliability high as velocity rises. • Grow the engineering bench toward a manager layer, QA and automation, and DevOps as the org scales. • Partner with BI on instrumentation and with Finance on platform spend. • Develop the two sub-org leaders and the engineers under them. How Success is Measured: You run the platform from a small set of engineering numbers and set the objectives for both sub-orgs. FIRST 90 DAYS: • An uptime, velocity, and security baseline you trust. • A platform roadmap aligned to the experience and product briefs. • The two sub-orgs running to a clear standard. THE NUMBERS THAT MATTER: • Yours to own. Uptime, release velocity, platform cost, and security posture. • You influence. Conversion and launch outcomes, owned by Digital Experience, Product, and Commercial. • The rhythm. You set the platform OKRs and run the engineering review off uptime, velocity, and cost.
