About The Position

The VP, Technology & Digital Solutions is a strategic leader responsible for the strategy, design, and delivery of technological solutions that enable a modern, productive, and secure workforce. This role executes the company’s technology vision across front, middle, and back-office operations. The VP, Technology & Digital Solutions drives digital workplace innovation, workforce technology modernization, and intelligent automation initiatives while ensuring strong governance, adoption, and measurable business value across the enterprise ecosystem which includes, but is not limited to, applicant tracking systems, customer relationship management, credentialing locker, immigration case management, client order management, payroll and billing systems, integrations, mobile applications, and AI-driven tools. This role partners closely with executives and company leadership to ensure the organization has the right technologies, platforms, and digital capabilities to support the regulatory complexity of healthcare staffing while improving productivity, automation, security, and user experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field required; Master’s preferred or equivalent executive experience
  • 10+ years in technology leadership, digital transformation, or enterprise systems management
  • Experience in staffing, healthcare staffing, healthcare technology, or workforce solutions
  • Expertise with ATS/CRM platforms, credentialing systems, timekeeping/payroll, billing, VMS, and/or SaaS systems
  • Demonstrated success implementing AI, automation, and mobile-first technologies at scale
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional enterprise technology initiatives
  • Deep integration experience (API strategies, iPaaS, platform governance)
  • Strong understanding of healthcare compliance, licensure rules, and MSP/VMS workflows
  • Experience implementing enterprise systems (HCM, Finance, Payroll, workflow platforms)
  • Strong understanding of ITIL, ITSM, and service desk frameworks
  • Competencies in strategic planning, portfolio management, and change management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation experience
  • Experience with Quickbase, Salesforce, Bullhorn, LaborEdge, BlueSky, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Ceipal, or similar platforms
  • Experience with credentialing modernization or CVO integrations
  • Experience with scrum/agile frameworks
  • Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certification and ability to obtain and maintain

Responsibilities

  • Serve as executive owner of the company’s technology stack
  • Define, develop and execute a 24–36-month technology roadmap advancing organizational growth by modernizing the company’s front, middle, and back-office operational workflows aligned with organizational goals
  • Lead the design and continuous improvement of employee-facing technologies, including collaboration platforms, productivity tools, and workforce applications
  • Ensure technology convergence and seamless integration across platforms
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on annual planning, budgeting, and strategic technology investments
  • Champion a user-centered approach to technology design and deployment
  • Lead change management, adoption, and digital enablement programs to ensure successful use of new tools
  • Partner with learning and development teams to support digital skills and upskilling initiatives
  • Drive a mobile-first strategy for clinicians and clients
  • Lead enhancements to mobile applications and/or integration of SaaS tools to support onboarding, scheduling, credential uploads, T&A, and pay visibility
  • Ensure digital experiences improve retention, engagement, and operational compliance
  • Evaluate, implement, and optimize AI capabilities (search & match, document verification, agentic AI for sourcing/scheduling)
  • Automate manual workflows across company operations to reduce burden
  • Establish governance for responsible AI usage, data quality, and privacy compliance
  • Oversee integrations across company technology stack
  • Manage vendor ecosystems, ensuring platforms are scalable, secure, and interoperable
  • Maintain data consistency, workflow integrity, and real-time system connectivity
  • Establish cross-functional governance for technology decisions
  • Track system performance, data integrity, and compliance readiness
  • Lead cybersecurity, identity management, and data privacy practices in partnership with IT Security
  • Define KPIs aligned to fill rates, credentialing SLAs, recruiter productivity, and digital engagement
  • Build and mentor a high-performing, innovation-driven technology team
  • Manage vendor relationships and enforce SLAs and roadmap commitments
  • Promote a culture of service excellence, agility, integrity, and continuous improvement
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on technology opportunities, risks, and modernization initiatives
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies
  • Oversee project governance, portfolio management, and prioritization frameworks
  • Implement and enforce IT security standards, network reliability, and operational readiness
  • Champion agile methodologies and best practices in software delivery and vendor-supported systems
  • Ensure timely reporting on technology performance, project status, service levels, and budget adherence
  • Develop team capabilities through coaching, mentorship, and performance management
