About The Position

Responsible for the development and management of a select portfolio of business-critical applications. Provides technical product leadership to design and implement robust, scalable applications and enhancements. Owns end to end technical product management and provides architectural oversight into application development while supporting application change management processes.

Requirements

Comprehensive knowledge of application management processes, software engineering principles, architectural patterns, and best practices.
Comprehensive knowledge of the latest development frameworks to develop scalable, performant web and desktop applications.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, including presentation skills.
Ability to demonstrate effective organizational and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment delivering quality work on time.
Ability to work collaboratively in a continually changing environment.
Ability to form and manage trustful and productive relationships.

Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or job-related field, or commensurate work experience, required.
7+ years of experience in product management, product development, or related, required. Experience in technical and/or agile environments preferred.
5+ years of hands-on experience in software development and application management, required.
5+ years of experience in databases, such as MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL, and usage of DB tools, ETL, and writing SQL queries, required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Microsoft visual studio and ability to code in C# and Python, preferred.
Experience in building and managing API based integrations and cloud-based applications, preferred.
Experience with analytics, reporting and data visualization platforms such as Power BI, preferred.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with all stakeholders to achieve buy-in and maintain alignment with business goals, strategy, and objectives.
Drives business and technical requirements prioritization, identifies critical success factors, establishes architecture and delivery approach, and provides ongoing production support oversight.
Proactively engages with technology leaders and other departments and functions to ensure delivered technology platforms are congruent with respective requirements.
Ensures the consistency, scalability, and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing and operating technical solutions.
Assesses emerging and industry transforming technologies through research, prototype, and development activities.
Ensures compliance with Bank OZK and internal/external regulatory policy, procedures, and guidelines for all parties and/or stakeholders.
Contributes to special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
