About The Position

As a Talent Management Lead, you will be a key player in participating in developing and executing our talent management strategy while also fulfilling comprehensive HR generalist duties including workforce planning and employee relations. Your experience will guide the creation of programs aimed at talent development, retention, and employee engagement. With your excellent project and program management skills, you will lead cross-functional initiatives, ensuring their alignment with our strategic objectives. Proficiency in analytics, and reporting will empower you to make data-driven decisions. By collaborating closely with leadership, you will ensure our HR strategies not only align with but also drive our business goals forward.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years of HR experience, with significant roles in talent management and as an HR generalist, within the financial services/banking industry. Experience at a regional bank a plus
  • Demonstrated success in talent management strategies, learning and development programs, and HR generalist responsibilities
  • Excellent project and program management skills, with a track record of successfully executing complex HR initiatives
  • Experience managing external consulting resources and vendors, with a focus on achieving strategic HR outcomes
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in utilizing HR metrics, KPIs, and reporting tools to drive decision-making
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of the banking industry and the associated regulatory landscape a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is highly regarded
  • Strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves and get things done according to prescribed timelines. Excellent execution skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage strategic talent management programs, including talent development, succession planning, performance management enhancements, retention, and engagement initiatives
  • Drive learning and development efforts, identifying needs and designing programs to enhance workforce capabilities
  • Demonstrate excellent project and program management skills, effectively leading HR initiatives from conception through to execution
  • Utilize analytics and HR metrics to provide insights/reporting, inform strategies, and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives
  • Prepare and deliver insightful reports and presentations to internal HR stakeholders, senior management
  • Manage relationships with external consulting resources and vendors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and solutions
  • Navigate the regulatory environment ensuring all HR practices are compliant and that audit specific and regulatory plans are well documented
  • Foster an organizational culture that values diversity, inclusion, and employee wellbeing
  • Being a strategic partner to assigned leadership to address organizational issues, employee relations, offboarding, and talent and culture for the division.
