The position is responsible for developing, marketing, and underwriting of US Property Treaty business. While the skillful underwriting of a program is paramount, the candidate should be also be a team player, willing to contribute to the larger goals of the team. As such, the candidate needs effective communication and project management skills, working with external and internal stakeholders (clients, brokers, SCOR teams, claims, actuarial, legal, strategy and senior management). We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable with open-ended challenges where the candidate can succinctly and confidently recommend solutions knowing that the process to solutions is as important as the outcome. The candidate will be expected to assume client management responsibilities which requires strong communication skills and engagement across supporting functions and lines of business. This position will be based in a SCOR office, either Chicago or New York City and the candidate is expected to be in office several days per week.
