About The Position

The VP, Portfolio Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of commercial banking relationships while ensuring strong credit quality, risk management, and client retention. This role serves as a trusted advisor to clients and internal partners, delivering deposit, treasury, lending, and other banking solutions that support client objectives and the Bank's growth strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 5+ years of commercial banking, portfolio management, relationship management, or related financial services experience
• Strong knowledge of commercial lending, deposit products, treasury services, and credit fundamentals
• Excellent relationship management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management practices

Responsibilities

• Manage and deepen commercial client relationships to drive retention and growth
• Monitor portfolio performance, profitability, credit quality, and risk metrics
• Conduct relationship reviews and identify cross-sell opportunities across lending, deposits, and treasury services
• Analyze financial information, monitor covenant compliance, and assist with credit underwriting and portfolio reviews
• Collaborate with Credit, Operations, Treasury Management, and other business partners to deliver solutions and maintain compliance
• Ensure adherence to bank policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards
