About The Position

The VP of Product Management for AI Solutions is responsible for defining and leading the Clover-wide AI product vision, strategy, and roadmap. This executive leader will focus on scaling AI-driven commerce solutions across the entire Clover ecosystem, driving platform innovation, and fostering an AI-first culture to unlock new customer value. This leader will work across Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Risk, Customer Success, and external technology partners to deliver differentiated Generative AI solutions that drive customer growth, merchant retention, and revenue expansion. The ideal candidate combines deep AI technology expertise, exceptional product leadership, commercial acumen, and experience scaling SaaS and payments platforms.

Requirements

  • 12+ years in Product Management with substantial leadership and people management experience.
  • Experience building Generative AI solutions in retail commerce or POS platforms.
  • Deep knowledge of traditional ML and Gen AI technologies and ability to adapt to solve business problems.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex matrix organizations.
  • You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Responsibilities

  • Define and lead Clover’s AI platform strategy—enabling seamless integration of AI across the entire product ecosystem to unlock new customer value.
  • Partner with other product leaders to define the roadmap for insights and agentic actions.
  • Oversee the development of AI tools and infrastructure that empower internal product teams to build smarter, automated, and personalized merchant experiences.
  • Lead end-to-end product management from concept through launch and continuous optimization.
  • Partner with Engineering and Design to deliver modern, cloud-based, AI-enabled SMB solutions.
  • Drive customer-centric product development through data, market insights, and merchant feedback.
  • Balance innovation with operational excellence and platform scalability.
  • Ensure seamless integration across the Merchant Solutions ecosystem.
  • Design and scale agentic AI workflows that empower merchants to perform complex back-office tasks—such as inventory adjustments, menu curation, and financial reporting—through natural language interactions and automated task execution.
  • Build predictive intelligence engines—including churn prediction and personalized recommendation systems—that surface proactive, actionable insights to help merchants optimize operations, increase revenue, and improve customer retention.
  • Develop a secure, multi-agent AI platform and governance framework that ensures consistent, reliable, and high-quality AI-powered experiences across all Clover merchant surfaces and products.
  • Oversee large-scale cross-functional AI initiatives, collaborating closely with Data Science, Engineering, and Fiserv stakeholders to tie each initiative to clear business outcomes.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing on commercialization strategies including pricing, packaging, and go-to-market.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive positioning.
  • Lead and develop high-performing Product Managers.
  • Create a culture of innovation, accountability, customer obsession, and execution.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, Operations, and Support.
