About The Position

Responsible for providing leadership for overall operations and administration of Pace's Analytical Services Operations in assigned region; oversight of all regulatory and compliance standards; full P&L responsibility, procurement of required personnel and equipment; ensuring the safety and wellbeing of staff; and long-range, capital and strategic planning for the region. Serves as the primary communication link between Analytical Services Administration and the region.

  • Develops, implements, and reviews operational and financial metrics to monitor and enhance performance.
  • Works with laboratory information systems, establishes and leads system-wide activities necessary to maintain or improve information handling across operations.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes, administers, develops, and evaluates the activities of assigned staff.
  • Develops, implements, and evaluates strategies which support integrated operations and standardized policies, procedures, and processes within the region and collaboration across regions.
  • Directs and oversees the strategic planning process within the supported areas and implements goals to support the overall organizational strategic plan, while maximizing resources of the programs and services. Develops, implements, and reviews operational and financial metrics to monitor and enhance performance.
  • Directs and oversees the efficient operations including acting as a liaison to Analytical Services’ Administration and Leadership for the region.
  • Plans and actively participates in projects to meet annual strategic initiatives including implementation and development of quantitative outcomes. Identifies, develops, and implements performance improvement processes to enhance customer satisfaction and employee engagement. Establishes and achieves goals for continuous service improvement.
  • Sets and maintains policies, procedures, and standardization to ensure effectiveness and compliance with regulatory guidelines. Develops and directs implementation of standards and systems to enhance quality, consistency, efficiency, and timeliness in areas of responsibility.
  • Develops and maintains effective communication within the region and organization.
  • Develops and monitors plans to achieve productivity and cost improvements.
  • Monitors reports to ensure accuracy of test results, efficient operations, proper staffing levels, and resource utilization.
  • Works with laboratory information systems, establishes and leads system-wide activities necessary to maintain or improve information handling across operations.
