VP of Product, B2B SaaS

Pharos Systems International IncRochester, NY
$175,000 - $180,000Remote

About The Position

Pharos Systems International is the leader in PrintOps, the integrated, cloud-native approach to managing enterprise printing. Our software helps large organizations reduce costs, strengthen security, and support a hybrid workforce. We serve thousands of customers including many Fortune 500 companies, and we have been doing this since 1992. We are a PE-backed B2B SaaS company in the middle of a meaningful transition, from a legacy on-prem install base to a cloud-native platform. The team is lean, the product is real, and the whitespace ahead of it is significant.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in B2B SaaS product management with meaningful senior experience
  • Owned a product through a complete lifecycle: discovery, definition, build, launch, and iteration
  • Connected product decisions to revenue outcomes: ARR, retention, expansion, or pricing
  • Worked at a company under 300 people and thrived in a lean, fast-moving environment
  • Evidence of technical depth: worked directly with engineering on real architecture decisions
  • Originated product bets, not responded to them
  • Go deep with engineering, doing homework before technical conversations, asking good questions, and pushing back when something is not right
  • Talk to customers directly, regularly, and it changes what you build
  • Lead with the point: short, specific, outcome first
  • Genuinely, specifically using AI in your work today, not as an experiment, but as part of how you produce
  • Not a good fit for roles that are primarily about building and managing PM teams; this is a doing role, not a directing role

Responsibilities

  • Own Pharos Cloud product strategy, roadmap, and direction, originating plans and recommendations, not waiting for them
  • Own the company's most important new revenue bets, including our DLP and data egress initiative
  • Maintain ongoing, direct relationships with key enterprise customers, in real conversations that change what gets built
  • Manage the full product development cycle from discovery through launch through iteration
  • Exercise product authority across Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing
  • Oversee the documentation function

Benefits

  • $175,000 - $180,000 base salary plus $20,000 bonus potential
  • Fully remote (US only)
  • Direct line to the CEO and full product authority from day one
  • A product in market, growing, with significant expansion opportunity ahead
  • A lean team with no bureaucracy and a leadership team that takes product seriously
  • Recognized as a Great Benefits employer by Mployer
  • Named a Top Place to Work by USA Today
