About The Position

As the VP of HR at K Health, you will serve as a core thought leader and strategic partner to the executive leadership team. In this pivotal role, you will lead our organizational strategy to hire, engage, develop, retain, and scale our most valuable asset—our people. You will uniquely bridge the gap between our corporate functions and our clinical organization, balancing high-growth scaling with operational excellence. A key priority will be building a structured career trajectory and development path for clinicians from the ground up as we scale our clinician team from 80 to over 250. And continue to evolve our organization to serve our mission of providing high quality medicine at scale.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive HR / People Operations experience, with at least 3–5+ years in a senior leadership role (VP, Head of People, or Senior Director).
  • Proven experience managing People Operations across both corporate functions and scaling clinical, medical, or field/frontline operations.
  • Demonstrated success scaling a high-growth company or division (specifically experience building programs to scale teams significantly, such as 2x–3x growth).
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing career progression frameworks, performance management systems, and retention strategies from scratch.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree (Master’s, MBA, or M.S. in HR/Org Development) or HR certifications (SHRM-SCP, SPHR).
  • Experience in HealthTech, Telehealth, or healthcare delivery environments.
  • Experience navigating fast-paced, matrixed, or venture-backed environments.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, translating business strategy into actionable organizational and talent strategies.
  • Drive People Ops strategy and execution across both corporate business functions and the medical/clinical organization.
  • Design, build, and implement end-to-end career pathways, engagement strategies, and retention initiatives for clinicians, supporting growth from 80 to 200+ providers.
  • Oversee the entire employee lifecycle—including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, total rewards, leadership development, and employee relations.
  • Establish data-driven HR practices, metrics, and systems to continuously measure and improve employee engagement, retention, and operational efficiency.
  • Drive programs that reinforce company culture, foster an inclusive workplace, and support organizational agility during rapid scaling.
