VP of Marketing

PayRangePortland, OR

About The Position

PayRange is a rapidly growing fintech company transforming the $45+ billion global market for unattended retail payments. We operate a unique two-sided network, connecting millions of machines and users through our leading fintech and mobile commerce platform. As the VP of Marketing, you will own the entire growth engine across both B2B (operators, enterprise customers, strategic partners) and B2C (millions of consumer app users) sides of our business. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of a profitable, high-growth company with proven product-market fit and category leadership. You will build and lead the development of a go-to-market motion, revenue engine, and category-defining brand, reporting directly to the CEO. This role is for a growth-minded marketing leader who thrives at the intersection of SaaS, fintech, marketplace, and consumer technology, with the freedom to challenge conventional thinking and build a world-class marketing organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of marketing leadership experience in SaaS, fintech, technology, or platform businesses, with a track record of scaling teams and driving growth.
  • Proven success owning marketing strategy and delivering measurable business outcomes across pipeline, revenue, customer acquisition, and expansion.
  • Experience leading both B2B and B2C marketing motions, ideally within a two-sided network, marketplace, or ecosystem business.
  • Executive presence who can stand on stage and comfortably command the room.
  • Strong background building demand generation engines, go-to-market strategies, and growth programs that accelerate revenue.
  • Deep product marketing expertise, including positioning, messaging, launches, pricing, and competitive strategy.
  • Experience building consumer brands and driving user acquisition, engagement, retention, and loyalty.
  • Proven ability to build high-performing teams, scalable processes, and a modern marketing operating system.
  • Experience leveraging data, analytics, automation, AI, and marketing technology to drive smarter decisions and better outcomes.
  • Strong channel and partner marketing experience that creates scalable distribution and growth opportunities.
  • A balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution—you define the strategy, build the plan, and make it happen.
  • A builder’s mindset. You thrive without a playbook and are energized by creating something new.
  • A strong executive presence—you can command a room, influence stakeholders, and communicate a vision that motivates customers, partners, and teams.
  • A growth leader who views marketing as a revenue engine and is accountable for business impact, not just marketing metrics.
