About The Position

Balance Treatment Programs are leading the way in comprehensive mental health care. We are currently seeking a full-time VP of Marketing to join our executive leadership team and lead sales and marketing efforts across all our sites. The VP of Marketing will spread our brand messaging of healing together; lead and execute the strategy for growing the Balance Treatment Center’s client base, expand the market presence and promote our services to those in need. The VP of Marketing reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and developing teams, fostering collaboration and driving high performance in a complex, regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with the mental health field, including treatment services along with an understanding of client acquisition challenges in the healthcare sector.
  • Five years of experience in a healthcare or mental health setting.
  • Five years of experience in a sales and marketing leadership role.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
  • Must have valid California driver’s license and liability insurance if driving personal and/or company vehicle on Balance Treatment Center business.
  • Vision, hearing, manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination must be adequate for performance of job duties. Able to sit at desk, use keyboard, write and physically perform other job duties. Able to move about the facility to observe clients and staff.
  • Must be customer-service driven.
  • Personal vehicle with liability insurance for reimbursable mileage, generally short distances.
  • Class “C” Driver’s License.
  • First Aid certification, obtain within 90 days of employment and maintain current thereafter.
  • CPR certification, obtain within 90 days of employment and maintain current thereafter.
  • Medication training required within 30 days of employment.
  • Develop computer skills adequate to perform word processing duties within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the well-being of clients and the integrity of the program.
  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy aimed at increasing brand awareness and positioning the company in the relevant markets according to approved messaging and company goals.
  • Manage annual marketing budget to track, oversee and optimize marketing spend, agency cost, lead acquisition cost, and return on investment per lead.
  • Foster relationships with healthcare providers, mental health professionals and community organizations to generate client referrals and establish a strong network leading to referrals.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, ensuring sustainable and strategic growth in client volume and treatment revenue.
  • Build, manage and mentor a high-performing outreach team, including community outreach coordinators, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet targets and build strong relationships with referral sources.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing activities, setting performance goals and KPIs for the marketing and outreach team, and ensure that targets are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote Balance, positioning Balance Treatment Center as a trusted leader in mental health care.
  • Manage performance and collaborate with all agencies and external partners, providing reporting to the leadership team.
  • Oversee marketing efforts in all channels including print, broadcast, digital, PR and other relevant channels. Efforts will include but are not limited to website management, SEO, social media, paid digital advertising and content marketing in order to increase visibility, awareness, and client leads.
  • Create and distribute educational content related to mental health topics including blogs, webinars and print materials, to help reduce stigma and increase engagement with potential clients.
  • Oversee agency creative to maintain fresh, effective materials that are consistent with Balance style guide and brand guidelines.
  • Ensure that the Balance’s brand message is clear, compassionate and consistent across all channels, reflecting our commitment to high-quality care and client well-being.
  • Implement and optimize lead generation strategies, using digital and community-based marketing tactics, to reach potential clients and their families.
  • Track and evaluate marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies to ensure maximum return on investment and optimal client acquisition rates.
  • Understand complete customer journey. Collaborate with the sales and clinical operations team and administration to ensure that marketing efforts are aligned with Balance’s care standards and goals.
  • Identify and lead efforts to actively represent Balance in community health fairs, conferences and related opportunities to build relationships, raise awareness, and promote Balance.
  • Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis to identify new trends, client needs and growth opportunities within the mental health treatment space.
  • Stay up to date on industry changes, competitors and evolving client needs to continuously improve marketing strategies and services offered by Balance.
  • Leverage digital tools and technologies to improve marketing efficiencies, such as CRM systems, marketing automation and client management systems.
