Requirements

  • Senior HR leadership experience with demonstrated executive partnership
  • Organizational development, workforce planning, and change leadership capability
  • Ability to influence and build credibility across all levels of an organization
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or similarly complex operating environments
  • Understanding of frontline workforce dynamics and skilled trades environments
  • Continuous improvement mindset with practical business acumen
  • Success in talent acquisition, leadership development, and employee engagement
  • Ability to strengthen culture during periods of growth and change
  • Experience building scalable HR systems, programs, and processes
  • Data-driven approach to decision-making and workforce planning
  • Success supporting growth in evolving or high-growth organizations

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to, or support of, M&A activity, including due diligence, integration, or scaling through acquisition preferred
  • Experience in family-owned or closely held organizations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and trusted advisor to the President.
  • Develop and execute a people strategy aligned with Seyer’s growth objectives.
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and succession planning.
  • Lead talent acquisition and workforce planning to support significant organizational growth, including the addition of approximately 300 employees in the coming years.
  • Build scalable talent pipelines for skilled manufacturing and operational roles.
  • Strengthen onboarding, workforce development, and retention strategies in a competitive labor market.
  • Preserve and strengthen Seyer’s collaborative, family-oriented culture during a period of growth.
  • Enhance leadership capability through manager development, coaching, and performance accountability.
  • Drive employee engagement and a consistent, positive employee experience.
  • Strengthen HR systems, policies, and processes to support continued growth and operational excellence.
  • Use workforce data and insights to inform talent and organizational decisions.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, compliance, and HR programs that support attraction and retention.
  • Build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization, from executive leadership to frontline employees.
  • Serve as a visible, hands-on leader who balances strategy with execution.
  • Help align people strategies with long-term business goals in a family-owned environment.
