About The Position

MD Esthetics is scaling quickly through organic growth and acquisition, and we need a true second-in-command to the CFO to run the finance organization day to day. The VP of Finance will own FP&A end-to-end, provide dotted-line leadership and strategic oversight of the Controller and accounting function, and take the lead on treasury, capital structure, and financial systems as we grow. Just as important, this person is finance's connective tissue to the rest of the business — working shoulder-to-shoulder with Operations, HR, Marketing, and Clinical leadership so that financial plans are grounded in what's actually happening in the clinics, not built in a vacuum. This is a builder and a manager: you'll set the process, own the team, and be the CFO's primary partner on everything from the monthly close to the next acquisition financing.

Requirements

10+ years of progressive finance leadership spanning FP&A and accounting, ideally including time in a multi-unit, healthcare services, or consumer/retail roll-up environment.
Prior experience managing a Controller, accounting team, or finance department directly — this role owns people, not just models.
A track record of working cross-functionally with Operations, HR, and Marketing — someone who can sit in a room with non-finance leaders, translate the numbers into plain language, and earn their trust, not just hand them a spreadsheet.
Private equity-backed or high-growth/acquisitive company experience strongly preferred — direct exposure to lender relationships, covenant compliance, and board/investor reporting.
Strong technical accounting fluency (GAAP); CPA preferred given direct oversight of the accounting function.
Advanced Excel/financial modeling skills; you build models others can audit and modify, not black boxes.
A track record of building finance organizations and process in a scaling, still-maturing company.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA strongly preferred at this level.

Responsibilities

Provide dotted-line leadership and strategic oversight of the Controller and accounting function, driving accountability for the monthly close calendar, financial statement accuracy, internal controls, and audit and tax coordination.
Lead the annual budget and rolling forecast process across all clinics and the corporate entity, including revenue, labor, and EBITDA by location and consolidated.
Build and maintain the company's core financial models: enterprise consolidation, location-level P&L forecasts, cash flow forecasting, and debt covenant compliance tracking.
Own treasury and cash management — banking relationships, credit facility administration, cash forecasting, and liquidity planning across the platform.
Own acquisition and new-location modeling — deal underwriting support, pro formas, integration budgets, and post-close performance tracking against the deal model.
Deliver monthly variance analysis and board/investor reporting packages in partnership with the CFO, serving as a key point of contact for our PE sponsor.
Own the financial systems roadmap (ERP, FP&A tools, Corral) as the platform scales, and build out the finance and accounting team as headcount needs grow.
Partner with regional operators and clinic General Managers on location-level performance reviews, turning financial results into concrete operating decisions (staffing, hours, service mix, pricing).
Work with HR on labor modeling, compensation design, and headcount planning as a core input to the budget and every forecast update.
Partner with Marketing on customer acquisition cost, campaign ROI, and membership/retention economics, so growth spend is held to the same standard as everything else.
Serve as finance's primary partner to Clinical/Provider leadership on service-line profitability, new service and device economics, and provider productivity.
Work with IT/systems on the data infrastructure that ties clinical, operational, and financial data together, since forecasting is only as good as the data feeding it.
