They own and operate their own digitally native brands, with presence in Walmart, Nordstrom, and Amazon, and a strong global D2C footprint. Trafilea is a tech-led eCommerce group scaling its own globally loved DTC brands, while helping ambitious talent grow just as fast. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • 10+ years in senior finance roles.
  • Strong background in investor relations, banking, fundraising, and corporate governance.
  • Deep understanding of U.S. financial regulations and governance frameworks.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Proven leadership in cross-functional and investor-facing roles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
  • Business-oriented, proactive, and resilient.
  • Strong decision-maker with high integrity and attention to detail.
  • Capable of balancing competing priorities under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic financial leader, overseeing investor relations, banking partnerships, governance, and capital strategy.
  • Ensure sustainable growth, financial transparency, and investor confidence by aligning financial planning with corporate objectives.
  • Drive fundraising, optimize capital allocation, and modernize financial systems while maintaining strong governance and compliance.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling to guide executive decisions.
  • Develop KPIs connecting operational performance to financial outcomes (CAC, LTV, cash conversion cycle).
  • Evaluate ROI on marketing spend, product launches, and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead equity, debt, and hybrid fundraising efforts, from investor sourcing to deal closure.
  • Optimize capital structure to minimize cost of capital while supporting flexibility and growth.
  • Drive M&A and strategic investments, ensuring due diligence and integration.
  • Build investor trust through roadshows, earnings calls, and transparent reporting.
  • Deliver compelling investor presentations, quarterly updates, and annual reports.
  • Serve as primary point of contact, proactively addressing risks and opportunities.
  • Manage global and U.S. banking relationships.
  • Oversee debt financing, credit facilities, and liquidity management.
  • Implement working capital optimization strategies and fraud prevention controls.
  • Streamline and automate financial processes for scalability.
  • Integrate real-time financial systems and dashboards to support agile decisions.
  • Strengthen internal controls and risk management frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, tax regulations, and governance requirements.
  • Partner with Legal/Compliance to mitigate risks and uphold transparency.
  • Deliver board-level financial reports, forecasts, and insights.
  • Optimize cross-border tax strategies and ensure multi-jurisdiction compliance.
  • Improve payment processing economics and settlement efficiency.
  • Manage inventory financing, supplier terms, and receivables.
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team across FP&A, treasury, governance, and IR.
  • Mentor finance talent and foster a culture of accountability and integrity.
