Requirements

  • 12–15+ years of experience in HVAC, MEP, mechanical service, or industrial field service leadership
  • Proven success leading multi-site or multi-region service operations
  • Strong understanding of: Field service KPIs and technician performance metrics Dispatching and workforce planning Preventative maintenance programs and service contracts
  • Deep technical knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment lifecycle management
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, and field service management platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to build and develop high-performing teams

Nice To Haves

  • Background in water systems, aquatics, or filtration
  • Industry certifications (CPO, AFO, or similar) or willingness to obtain
  • Experience overseeing both service and installation operations

Responsibilities

  • Field Service Leadership Lead and develop multi-region teams of service technicians, supervisors, and managers Drive key performance metrics including utilization, response time, and first-time fix rates Partner with dispatch and operations teams to improve field efficiency
  • Technical Oversight Oversee service delivery across mechanical systems including pumps, motors, filtration, and controls Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues and system failures Standardize troubleshooting practices and technical training programs
  • Operational & Financial Management Own service P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control Improve margins through labor optimization and process improvements Align operational performance with company growth objectives
  • Process Improvement & Systems Implement and optimize ERP and field service management systems Develop scalable workflows, SOPs, and service delivery standards Improve coordination across service, installation, and project teams
  • Client & Business Support Serve as senior technical advisor for key clients and accounts Support long-term service agreements and customer retention Partner with sales teams to support solution-based growth
