About The Position

The VP of Corporate Accounting owns group-level accounting, including technical GAAP positions, multi-entity consolidation and eliminations, intercompany accounting, external audit management, accounting policy and internal controls, and shared financial infrastructure. Reporting directly to the CFO, this hands-on executive leads the corporate accounting branch and works alongside the operational accounting team, which owns entity-level books and month-end close. The role sets the technical and structural standards for the group's financials, serves as the primary day-to-day counterpart to external auditors and advisors, and acts as the CFO's senior delegate on accounting matters. The VP will manage the Technical Accounting Manager from day one and build out the corporate accounting branch as the organization scales, including recommending how in-house tax and treasury functions should be structured. The company is migrating to a new ERP accounting platform with a target launch of January 1, 2027; this role will help drive onboarding and design consolidation and intercompany processes on the platform from the start. The position is fully remote in the United States, with flexible working hours and occasional travel for leadership and audit meetings. Compensation is a $200,000–$235,000 base salary, depending on experience and qualifications, plus a profit-share opportunity. Medical coverage, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan in rollout with a January 1, 2027 target launch are offered.
