About The Position

EF Senior Care is seeking a VP of Clinical Operations to lead the clinical side of both their consulting practice and their owned and operated senior living communities. This role covers all of Massachusetts. On the consulting side, the VP will set clinical direction across engagements including mock surveys, survey defense, quality and infection prevention programs, clinical turnarounds, receiverships, and interim operations. This work can be planned or require immediate response to urgent situations. On the owned and managed side, the VP will oversee clinical operations across skilled nursing, memory care, assisted living, and rest home settings, partnering with administrators and DONs on survey readiness, clinical systems, staffing models, and outcomes.

Requirements

Active Massachusetts RN license
BSN or higher preferred
Deep command of SNF clinical operations
10+ years of progressive experience including multi-site or regional leadership (DON, Regional Director of Clinical Services, VP of Clinical Services, or similar)
Working fluency with the regulatory landscape in Massachusetts (DPH, CMS, EOAI)
Strength in QAPI, MDS and PDPM, infection prevention, clinical risk, and the metrics behind a five-star rating
Comfort with PointClickCare
A record of turning around underperforming clinical operations
Willingness to travel statewide

Responsibilities

Respond to urgent clinical situations as they arise.
Oversee clinical operations across owned communities (skilled nursing, memory care, assisted living, rest home).
