About The Position

The Vice President of Analytics, Insight, and Data Products will be responsible for the creation of high-value data and actionable insights as well as the deployment of diagnostic and predictive analytical approaches (incl. Mathematical Models, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence). This role will inform product strategy, sales and operations, marketing, and other business decisions that drive results to achieve the targets of Goodyear’s Plan. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in data and analytics leadership, a deep understanding of advanced data and analytics techniques, and the ability to foster a data-driven culture across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Applied Economics, Data Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in data, analytics, and insights, with experience leading large, multi-functional teams
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful data and analytics strategies in a global organization
  • Expertise in advanced analytics, data science, machine learning, and AI
  • Proficiency with analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Demonstrated ability using Monte Carlo simulations, Real Options, Simulations leveraging a Digital Twin, Causal inference, Bayesian Decision Analysis
  • Strong understanding of data management, data governance, and data architecture
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities
  • Skilled in providing data-based advice to the senior executive leadership team
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives and cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to present complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of robust data infrastructure to support analytics and business intelligence
  • Manage database engineering efforts to optimize data storage and retrieval
  • Ensure effective data warehousing solutions that support efficient data management and reporting
  • Drive the creation of high-value assets that support strategic decision-making
  • Partner cross-functionally with the Information Technology and Digital Organization
  • Develop and manage customer data platforms to capture and analyze customer behavior and preferences
  • Oversee consumer segmentation efforts to identify and target key audience segments
  • Lead efforts to identify consumer trends and behaviors to inform product development and marketing strategies
  • Develop and refine target audience profiles to enhance marketing effectiveness
  • Leverage propensity modeling to predict customer behavior in the purchase funnel (incl. purchase intent) and optimize marketing efforts
  • Conduct and oversee first-party custom research to gather unique consumer insights
  • Translate data into actionable customer insights to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
  • Oversee website analytics to optimize online user experience and engagement
  • Develop and implement marketing mix models to evaluate and optimize marketing investments
  • Utilize predictive analytics to forecast marketing outcomes and inform strategy
  • Lead advanced marketing attribution efforts to accurately measure the impact of marketing activities
  • Support various marketing analytics initiatives to enhance marketing performance and ROI
  • Characterize the tire industry and growth opportunities
  • Analyze commercial performance data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Define Brand equity and strength
  • Oversee network analytics to optimize distribution and operational efficiency
  • Lead product analytics efforts to inform product development and lifecycle management
  • Utilize pricing analytics to develop competitive pricing strategies
  • Conduct competitive analysis to inform strategic planning and positioning
  • Perform SWOT analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
  • Support a wide range of business analytics initiatives to drive strategic decision-making
  • Oversee manufacturing analytics to optimize production processes and improve efficiency
  • Lead workforce analytics to inform talent management and operational planning
  • Drive operational analytics to enhance business processes and performance
  • Utilize financial analytics to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Support various operational analytics initiatives to improve overall business operations
