About The Position

BlackLine is seeking a senior leader to build and run its enterprise internal AI program end-to-end, from strategy and governance through execution and adoption. The role will lead a strategic transformation initiative spanning technology, operations, and business transformation, balancing executive-level leadership with hands-on work building AI agents and driving organizational change. The VP will establish a roadmap tied to measurable business outcomes, including productivity gains, cost efficiency, and revenue enablement; define success metrics and report progress to the CIO and senior leadership; and build and manage a team of AI program managers, solution architects, and citizen development leads. The role will partner with business functions to identify high-impact use cases, deploy AI agents and automation workflows, and promote adoption through enablement, change management, and training. The position will also help establish BlackLine’s AI governance model in partnership with Legal, InfoSec, and Compliance. This includes setting AI policies and data governance standards, creating tiered access frameworks, overseeing the AI tool stack, and promoting responsible use through privacy, transparency, and audit readiness. BlackLine describes this as an opportunity to build an AI program from the ground up with executive sponsorship and a mandate to shape the company’s operations.
