About The Position

ARC-PA is seeking its first-ever Vice President of Information Technology Services, a newly created executive leadership role that reflects the organization’s commitment to investing in its future. Reporting directly to the President and CEO, the VP of IT will serve as a strategic partner to the Executive Leadership Team, ensuring technology not only supports the organization’s day-to-day operations but also advances its long-term mission. This leader will develop and execute a multi-year technology strategy, oversee the continued implementation and optimization of enterprise platforms like Salesforce, strengthen cybersecurity and data governance, and manage the organization’s technology budget and vendor relationships. More than a technical expert, ARC-PA is looking for a collaborative, business-minded leader who can translate complex technology into practical solutions, build strong relationships across the organization, and lead with humility, emotional intelligence, and a service-oriented mindset. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field from an accredited institution, along with a minimum of seven years of experience leading technology resources, IT operations, and technical teams; or Master’s degree in a related field with a minimum of five years of progressively responsible technology leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise technology functions within complex organizations.
  • Proven experience leading organizational change, driving technology initiatives, and managing large-scale transitions.
  • Experience serving within a higher education, accreditation, healthcare, or nonprofit organization.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks, including FERPA, GLBA, and PCI-DSS.
  • Experience implementing, managing, and optimizing cloud-based technologies, including Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, and enterprise SaaS platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing long-term technology strategies that align with organizational goals.

  • Experience with Platforms The organization utilizes Microsoft 365 , including the Office Suite, SharePoint , Teams , Microsoft Forms , InTune , and Microsoft Defender , along with Azure Servers , Azure Active Directory (2FA) , and Azure Single Sign-On (SSO) to provide a secure and connected technology environment.
  • Collaboration and communication are supported through Zoom , ChatGPT , Box , Dropbox , and VPN technologies, while core business operations rely on platforms such as Salesforce , WordPress (Bluehost) , Mailchimp , SurveyMonkey , SproutVideo , EventMobi , Zoho Desk , Zoho Vault , RefTab , QuickBooks Online , Certify , and Navan .
  • ARC-PA also prioritizes cybersecurity through solutions including KnowBe4 security awareness training and N-Able Cove backup and disaster recovery, ensuring the organization maintains a secure, scalable, and efficient technology infrastructure as it continues to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive, multi-year technology roadmap aligned with ARC-PA’s mission and long-term goals.
  • Frame technology investments as strategic capabilities for the organization rather than isolated projects.
  • Conduct full reviews of enterprise technology and SaaS platforms to find opportunities for simplification, cost optimization, and business-led innovation.
  • Establish practical frameworks—including budgets, metrics, and milestones—to execute the technology vision.
  • Leverage modern, cloud-based and SaaS technologies to automate and streamline business processes across the remote organization.
  • Oversee complex platform implementations, taking the lead on the current Salesforce rollout and ensuring effective adoption across user groups.
  • Provide oversight for all IT functional areas, which includes Information Security, User Services, Network and Infrastructure, and Administrative Computing.
  • Develop and manage the IT department's budget in collaboration with executive leadership.
  • Manage all technology vendor relationships, contracts, and statements of work.
  • Review technology contracts, project estimates, feasibility, costs, timelines, and system compatibility.
  • Ensure the organization maintains compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations related to privacy, access, and information security, such as FERPA, GLBA, and PCI-DSS.
  • Serve as the primary advisor to the IT Governance Committee regarding best practices for technology procurement and implementation.
  • Build and model a strong partnership between the IT department and ARC-PA business leaders.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the IT staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Empower the IT team to act as trusted strategic consultants who listen deeply and translate business needs into effective technology solutions.
  • Communicate clearly and consistently about the purpose and value of technology initiatives to help guide the organization through changes.
