About The Position

The Vice President of Human Resources is a key member of the CTDI Leadership team, with close interaction with all business unit leaders and the overall executive staff, and will be based out of CTDI Headquarters in West Chester, PA. The VP of HR will be responsible for the overall Human Resources management, design, communication, compliance and administration. The VP will provide support to employee relations, workforce and talent, administration, payroll, and total rewards teams for CTDI. This position will also define process and policy development. The successful candidate is one that thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment, driven to perform at a very high level, has demonstrated ability to develop and lead a talented HR Organization, possesses strong customer service skills, and is passionate about driving and leading HR in a growing and dynamic organization. Communications Test Design Inc (CTDI) is an industry leading Global Engineering, Repair and Logistics company with nearly 20,000 employees across 23 countries. The role is critical in executing CTDI’s people initiatives, providing great internal customer support while driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.

Requirements

  • An analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot systems-related issues.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 15+ years or more of experience in human resources in a progressive environment with at least 10 years of people management experience preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of employment law and employee relations.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or other HR certification or designation preferred.
  • UltiPro and Kronos Experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead Human Resources Administration teams, Employee Relations, and Workforce Operations.
  • Serve as a strategic business partner to executive leaders across all functions and geographies.
  • Ensure competitiveness of total rewards programs through market analysis and benchmarking.
  • Support workforce planning processes to ensure organizational capability and future talent needs are met.
  • Support employee relations activities, including investigations, conflict resolution, and risk mitigation.
  • Partner with Legal and Compliance teams on employment matters and organizational policies.
  • Lead the people aspects of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and organizational restructuring.
  • Build relationships and support standards with Global Human Resources leaders.
  • Develop and execute enterprise-wide strategies for healthcare benefits, wellness initiatives, and the 401(k) retirement program, balancing cost management, market competitiveness, and employee experience.
  • Support Workforce Operations and business leaders to develop and implement people strategies and programs that allow CTDI to attract, develop, and retain top talent across the organization.
  • Consult with and mentor managers on employee relations issues; ensure that appropriate corrective actions are consistently administered and provide leadership to assess, investigate, mediate and correct issues
  • Serve in a trusted advisor relationship, establishing strong working relationships throughout the organization with a customer-oriented philosophy working through organizational and people opportunities
  • Manage and coach a Field and Corporate HR Business Partner team to foster a high-performing team
  • Set strategy for and support HRIS Initiatives
  • Establish and coordinate daily relationships with third-party administrators and vendors.
  • Set strategy for and support benefits orientation and the open enrollment process.
  • Responsible for the oversight of all payroll tax activities, including multi-state registrations and tax set up, compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and ensuring timely filings of each jurisdiction’s periodic returns through third-party vendor
  • Responsible for remaining current on new legislation and regulatory ruling impacting multi-state HR.
  • Ability to embrace and implement AI into practical tools to support and elevate HR team members.
