About The Position

DoubleVerify is a leading platform for digital media measurement and analytics, providing advertisers with independent, data-driven insights to improve the quality and performance of digital advertising. Trusted by global brands and platforms, the company plays a central role in bringing transparency and accountability to the digital ecosystem. DoubleVerify is hiring a VP, Global Data & Privacy to lead its global privacy function and shape the company’s approach to data governance and responsible AI. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, this role will serve as a strategic partner across Legal, Product, Security, and Commercial teams to ensure compliance while enabling innovation. The role will own the global privacy program, including the design and implementation of governance frameworks aligned with evolving regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and emerging AI privacy laws. You will act as a central advisor on data use, lead privacy-by-design initiatives across product development, and oversee data protection impact assessments, audits, and training programs. In parallel, the position will serve as a key external representative on privacy and data issues—engaging with regulators, industry bodies, and strategic partners—while helping shape industry standards and influencing policy developments. This role also plays a central part in advancing enterprise-wide AI governance, establishing frameworks that balance innovation with responsible data use and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in global data privacy, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, business-aligned strategies. You are comfortable operating at both a strategic and execution level, leading cross-functional initiatives, and building scalable programs in a fast-evolving regulatory environment.
