About The Position

Dandy is seeking an accomplished leader to own the global Accounting and Treasury function within its Finance organization. • Track record of building scalable accounting systems and processes.
  • Experience with multi-entity international consolidation, including transfer pricing, intercompany processes, and foreign exchange.
  • Visible, accountable leadership, including owning problems openly and leading teams through difficult closes.
  • Integrity and a practical, solution-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with the ability to build trust with executives, auditors, and peers.
  • Strong prioritization and project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working in an innovative, disruptive culture.
  • Expertise in NetSuite and Excel or Google Sheets, and comfort using AI to automate work.

  • Experience implementing or remediating ERP, procure-to-pay, or HRIS systems.
  • Experience with purchase price allocations and integrating acquisitions.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end financial reporting, including close, consolidation, and account reconciliation, and reduce the monthly close from approximately seven or more days to three or four days.
  • Lead the shift from annual to quarterly reporting and deliver consistent quarterly closes and financial statements, including SEC-ready disclosures such as segments and EPS.
  • Set and enforce close standards, communicate issues and results transparently, and maintain a high bar across the team.
  • Partner with People, Operations, and FP&A to improve data quality in source systems before close.
  • Own the relationship with the Big 4 auditor.
  • Lead SOX readiness, including control gap assessment, remediation, segregation of duties, and access and change-management controls across financial systems.
  • Write and maintain formal accounting policies and technical accounting memos covering areas such as revenue recognition, ASC 842 leases, stock compensation, complex instruments, and purchase price allocations.
  • Serve as the primary accounting stakeholder for international expansion across Europe, LATAM, and APAC.
  • Partner with Tax on transfer pricing, intercompany agreements, VAT and indirect tax, and quarterly tax provision.
  • Simplify intercompany processes and build a consolidation model that accommodates new entities within the existing process.
  • Support global treasury and banking, including international banking partners and multi-currency accounts payable and payments.
  • Partner with Operations and FP&A on lab cost accounting, including inventory, cost cards, labor allocation, and fixed assets for scanner fleets and manufacturing equipment.
