About The Position

The VP of Escrow Administration provides senior operational and technical leadership for mortgage servicing, compliance, and operational risk management functions. This role partners closely with the SVP to drive strategic initiatives, manage vendor performance, and implement process improvements across the servicing organization. The position is based in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Area and is hybrid, offering remote flexibility with required onsite meetings.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive mortgage servicing and escrow administration experience.
  • Deep knowledge of CFPB, RESPA, agency, investor, and state servicing regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with property tax administration, hazard/flood/mortgage insurance, escrow analysis, servicing transfers, and loan boarding.
  • Strong background in mortgage loan closing, documentation, title insurance, legal descriptions, and collateral management.
  • Experience managing servicing transfers, portfolio acquisitions, system implementations, and vendor oversight.
  • Proficiency with ICE MSP or a comparable mortgage servicing platform.
  • Strong history of managing internal and external partner relationships in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to analyze financial/operational data, solve complex problems, and make sound business decisions under tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Mortgage Banking, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the company's subject matter expert on all escrow functions, including property taxes, hazard/flood insurance, mortgage insurance, escrow analysis, servicing transfers, acquisitions, loan boarding, and loss draft administration.
  • Monitor and manage subservicer escrow performance to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, investor guidelines, servicing agreements, and internal policies.
  • Research and resolve complex operational, investor, and regulatory challenges.
  • Update and refine policies, procedures, and controls to improve quality, efficiency, and the customer experience.
  • Provide guidance on loan closing, loan documentation, title insurance, legal descriptions, collateral documentation, recording requirements, and servicing transfers.
  • Collaborate with Closing, Post-Closing, Secondary Marketing, Compliance, Legal, and Servicing Operations to resolve complex documentation and collateral issues.
  • Interpret loan documents and investor requirements to ensure accurate servicing.
  • Handle sensitive customer, branch, executive, investor, and regulatory escalations.
  • Draft professional responses to regulatory inquiries and executive-level issues.
  • Analyze escalation data to identify trends and recommend long-term risk-mitigation strategies.
  • Support strategic planning, audits, portfolio acquisitions, and regulatory exams.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and mentor team members.
  • Partner with leaders across Servicing, Closing, Compliance, Accounting, Legal, Secondary Marketing, and Customer Experience to support company goals.
