About The Position

The VP, Distributed Ledger will be responsible for architecting and implementing modular, high-performance React components and full UI flows across a distributed financial technology platform. This role involves working closely with UX and Product teams to shape features from wireframes to execution, with a strong focus on behavioral detail. The position requires owning the testing strategy for frontend systems, ensuring stability and coverage of business-critical workflows. Additionally, the role involves managing complex data flows using state management libraries and maintaining component consistency and accessibility through design systems. The VP will operate within an Agile SDLC, participate in peer reviews, and contribute to deployment and support rotations as an engineering leader.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • Four years of experience in Enterprise SaaS or regulated software environments
  • Four years of Frontend development using React
  • Four years of experience with state management tools such as Redux/React Query
  • Four years of experience with design systems and CSS frameworks
  • Three years building frontend architectures
  • Two years of working with product teams co-owning product outcomes, conversion rates, and platform metrics
  • Two years of experience with Cloud-native architectures, DevOps, or developer tooling
  • One year of contributing to or owning enterprise SaaS/multi-tenant platforms in fintech/logistics/other data-sensitive industry

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement modular, high-performance React components and full UI flows across a distributed financial technology platform.
  • Leverage product design experience to work upstream with UX and Product teams to shape features from wireframes to execution, with a high attention to behavioral detail.
  • Own testing strategy for frontend systems using tools such as Jest, Playwright, and React Testing Library, ensuring business-critical workflows are stable and covered.
  • Apply experience with state management libraries (React Query, Redux) to manage complex data flows in investment or enterprise systems.
  • Maintain component consistency and accessibility across teams via design systems or component libraries, with an eye on scalability and maintainability.
  • Work within an Agile SDLC, participate in peer reviews, and contribute to deployment and support rotations as a proactive engineering leader.
