Disney’s Direct to Consumer (DTC) team oversees the Disney+ and Hulu streaming businesses within Disney Entertainment, helping to bring The Walt Disney Company’s best-in-class storytelling to fans and families around the world. The DTC Strategy team leads the development of critical initiatives that drive growth and innovation for our DTC businesses globally. Key responsibilities include market and competitive intelligence and analysis, business plan creation for new business initiatives, and communication of our business strategies to executive leadership, Disney’s Board of Directors, and the broader investor community. As the Vice President, DTC Strategy, you will be responsible for: Working with senior executives to facilitate the strategic development process Identifying and assessing critical consumer, entertainment, and technology trends that impact our businesses worldwide Defining and analyzing critical new growth opportunities for Disney's streaming platforms Creating actionable business plans for new ventures Assessing partnership and M&A opportunities to drive growth and innovation. Driving and facilitating collaboration with key stakeholders across cross-functional teams Developing executive-level presentations to communicate strategic recommendations to the senior team Support senior leadership communications to internal and external constituents (e.g., executive presentations, Board presentations, Earnings call prep) Providing intellectual leadership to high performing teams, as well as continuous coaching and feedback to motivate individuals to reach their highest potential
