About The Position

As the VP, Creative at Govini, you will be the visionary leader responsible for the visual identity and creative excellence of the Govini brand. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), you will serve as a key member of the marketing leadership team, translating complex data-driven defense insights into compelling, high-impact visual narratives. You will lead a multidisciplinary team across creative design, production, and video, ensuring that every touchpoint—from digital platforms to large-scale physical environments—reflects Govini’s position as the leader in Defense AI and supply chain intelligence. This role is a full-time position located out of our office in Arlington, VA. This role may require up to 5% travel.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in creative leadership roles, ideally within high-growth B2B SaaS, defense tech, or a premier creative agency.
  • A world-class portfolio showcasing expertise in brand building, sophisticated graphic design, and high-quality video production.
  • Proven ability to develop brand architecture and translate complex technical concepts into simple, elegant visual identities.
  • Experience managing and mentoring creative professionals (designers, videographers, producers) and collaborating at the executive level.
  • Ability to manage high-volume creative pipelines and budgets while maintaining a relentless focus on quality and deadline adherence.
  • Deep understanding of the intersection between technology, data visualization, and national security/defense storytelling is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

  • Creative Leadership: Direct the daily operations of the internal creative studio, overseeing the end-to-end execution of design, copy, and video production to ensure all work meets the highest standards of excellence.
  • Brand Architecture: Define and evolve the Govini brand architecture. Establish and maintain brand guidelines that ensure visual and tonal consistency across all products, sub-brands, and corporate communications.
  • Video & Content Production: Lead the strategy and execution for all video initiatives, ranging from high-production brand anthems and product demos to rapid-turnaround social content and event-specific visual assets.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the GTM, Product and Engineering teams to translate technical capabilities into clear, "marchitecture" designs and persuasive sales collateral.
  • Event Design Strategy: Drive the creative theme and experiential design for major company events, including the annual Govini Summit, ensuring a world-class attendee experience.
  • Strategic Campaign Execution: Lead the creative development for high-visibility marketing campaigns, including regional "takeovers" (e.g., Pentagon Metro, Colorado Springs) and account-based marketing (ABM) programs.
