About The Position

WEX is a global leader in intelligent payment solutions, powering the B2B payment infrastructure for major travel platforms, financial institutions, fin-techs, and mid-market enterprises. The Corporate Payments business is experiencing significant growth and momentum. This role is crucial for leading the next phase of growth by shaping innovative products, providing clarity in complex situations, and transforming a strong foundation into a market-defining platform. As a key member of the Corporate Payments Sr. Leadership team, you will collaborate with Commercial, Operations, and Technology to define and execute the Corporate Payments product strategy. Your responsibilities include creating an integrated product vision and strategy to address major customer pain points through innovation and new product commercialization. You will lead a team of product leaders and managers responsible for the management, definition, and delivery of Corporate Payments products and customer experiences.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in product management
  • 7+ years of experience in Payments or Financial Services
  • 10+ years of progressive product leadership experience
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate and influence a broad set of stakeholders and executive leaders to drive strategic alignment
  • Ability to set a bold vision for reimagined experiences and develop a strategy to execute and iteratively deliver on the vision
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with extensive use of both quantitative and qualitative data to drive prioritization and performance
  • Deep customer centricity, with a passion for understanding customer problems and rapidly experimenting to solve them
  • Proven track record of delivering on complex initiatives working across multiple teams and stakeholders, including facilitating alignment with roadmaps and cross-team dependencies
  • Strong leadership and communication, with a collaborative, inspirational, and performance-driven style
  • Strong coaching and mentorship with a track record of developing talent and building high-performing teams
  • Experience building scalable, shared capabilities
  • Demonstrated success in creating a vision to inspire, prioritizing key deliverables, defining and building roadmaps, and managing internal and external commitments

  • Develop and execute a bold E2E vision for Corporate Payment product lines supported by rapid experimentation, external competitive assessment, and strategic partnerships.
  • Develop and execute a market and customer research strategy that incorporates market trends, the competitive landscape, and customer insights into the product strategy.

  • Champion a product-led, experience-first mindset by embedding strong product discovery and design practices into how we build—ensuring customer journeys, UX, and service design are core to strategy, prioritization, and delivery within a product-centric operating model.
  • Cultivate an environment of psychological safety and experimentation, sharing modern delivery practices and systems across WEX Design leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a customer-centric product experience grounded in deep customer empathy and a clear understanding of customer problems.
  • Lead customer-focused ideation to identify pain points and design/deliver intuitive solutions.
  • Own the end-to-end experience for customers, partners, and internal teams across all platforms and services.
  • Act as a commercially astute partner, understanding value capture and sustainability.
  • Use data and persuasion to build executive alignment and navigate trade-offs.
  • Maintain strategic conviction and resist fragmentation as product complexity increases.
  • Manage the product portfolio using a holistic, data-driven approach, leveraging customer data and operational signals for iterative improvement.
  • Ensure design decisions are production-ready, technically informed, and measurable, considering regulatory, legal, and risk factors.
  • Establish AI-native workflows and manage an AI-augmented team to accelerate delivery and improve quality.
  • Build and manage a talent strategy to ensure the organization has the necessary competencies for long-term success.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of product managers and designers, coaching them in AI-enabled workflows.
  • Cultivate an environment of psychological safety, empowering teams to assess and flag product risks.
