About The Position

The Vice President, Corporate Partnerships Strategy & Development is a member of the Strategy & Transformation team and reports to the SVP, Strategy & Transformation. This role drives integrated, multi-year partnerships that accelerate revenue growth, deepen strategic collaboration across business units, and position Sesame Workshop as a premier media and mission-driven partner for leading global organizations. The purpose of this role is to design, build, and lead an enterprise-wide corporate partnerships strategy that unlocks the full value of Sesame Workshop’s brand, content, mission, and global platform.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15+ years of relevant experience in partnerships, strategy, business development, media, entertainment, consulting, or related fields.
  • Significant experience operating at the intersection of strategy, partnerships, and revenue generation.
  • Proven track record structuring large, multi-year corporate partnerships or strategic alliances.
  • Experience growing and optimizing existing partnership portfolios in addition to securing new deals.
  • Strong ability to translate brand, content, and mission-driven assets into commercial partnerships.
  • Experience working within media, entertainment, and/or mission-driven organizations.
  • Exceptional relationship builder comfortable engaging senior corporate executives.
  • Experience navigating complex, cross-functional organizations.
  • Strategic operator who can both design partnership models and execute major deals.

Responsibilities

  • Establish annual enterprise corporate partnership priorities, target accounts, and sector strategies.
  • Lead partnership strategy and deal architecture in collaboration with Revenue teams, supporting the development and closure of complex, multi-dimensional partnerships.
  • Align partnership opportunities with organizational priorities, growth objectives, and brand strategy.
  • Develop the frameworks, playbooks, and processes needed to scale corporate partnerships across the organization.
  • Define partnership tiers, value propositions, pricing models, and standardized deal structures.
  • Build internal capability across teams to identify, shape, and support partnership opportunities.
  • Review and assess existing corporate partnerships across the Sesame ecosystem to identify opportunities for growth, expansion, and increased value.
  • Develop strategies to deepen and extend high-potential partnerships into larger, multi-year enterprise relationships.
  • Ensure clear ownership and decision-making across Strategy, Revenue, and business units to enable speed, accountability, and effective execution.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment to design integrated, enterprise-wide partnership offerings.
  • Oversee the development of partnership concepts, pitches, and deal structures from strategy through execution.
  • Ensure partnership opportunities maximize long-term enterprise value while protecting Sesame’s brand, mission, and governance standards.
  • Partner with internal teams to track partnership performance, impact, and renewal opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to expand, optimize, and strengthen strategic partnerships over time.
  • Serve as a senior external representative of Sesame Workshop with C-suite leaders, global brands, and strategic partners.
  • Build and maintain relationships that position Sesame as a premier partner for mission-driven, high-impact collaboration.
