About The Position

The VP, of Corporate Communications, is responsible for shaping and protecting the company’s global brand and reputation. This executive leads all corporate communications functions—including PR, media and analyst relations, executive communications, internal communications, and crisis management—while driving strategic messaging that supports the company’s vision, market position, and business objectives

Requirements

  • 10+ years of corporate or agency communications experience, including leadership of global teams.
  • Strong background in B2B technology, IT, or software communications.
  • Proven success driving brand visibility through earned media and integrated communication strategies.
  • Expertise in crisis communications, corporate reputation management, and executive communications.
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling messages.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, negotiate with vendors, and oversee agency partnerships.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and strategic-thinking skills with the ability to operate in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience working with distributed, cross-functional teams in a global environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting business needs and timelines.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, security, networking, and cloud technologies is highly desirable.
  • Relevant certifications (PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, CSM, or equivalent) are a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a global corporate communications strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Oversee all external communications, including media relations, analyst relations, executive visibility, and corporate storytelling.
  • Serve as a senior advisor to the executive team on messaging, brand positioning, and communications risk.
  • Direct crisis communications planning and response across all global markets.
  • Build strong relationships with top-tier media, analysts, influencers, and partners.
  • Ensure consistency in corporate messaging across PR, internal communications, digital channels, and employee communications.
  • Oversee the development of press releases, executive speeches, bylines, and other communication materials.
  • Monitor competitive trends, industry narratives, and brand sentiment; communicate insights to leadership.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing communications team and manage global agency partners.
  • Establish KPIs, track program performance, and manage department budgets.
