About The Position

GTE Financial is seeking a Vice President Community Financial Center Regional Manager to lead its community financial centers. This role is responsible for leading branches to achieve sales and revenue goals, deliver an outstanding member experience, drive growth, navigate change management, and support their team in helping members achieve their financial goals. The Vice President CFC Regional Manager leads a team of Managers to achieve sales, service, and revenue targets, ensuring an optimal member experience and overseeing branch operations, human resources, and performance management. The role involves active participation in targeted community activities and market involvement, promoting GTE Financial and its offerings. The Vice President provides direction aligned with GTE’s Vision, Mission, and Values, focusing on brand strengthening, market share growth, increased member share of wallet, and optimal member experience. This position ensures the flawless execution of organizational strategies, initiatives, and changes, demonstrating the ability to embrace change and translate strategy into action to build commitment and enthusiasm at the branch level.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or a related field required; commensurate years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum ten years of experience with at least five years of progressive management experience within a financial institution or a combination of education and experience.
  • Proven sales management skills with a history of achieving outstanding results.
  • Ten years of prior retail bank /credit union lending experience.
  • Must live in a location that can leverage an existing high-speed internet service (Minimum upload speed 5 MB/s, preferred upload speed 25 MB/s; Minimum download speed 25 MB/s, preferred download speed 50 MB/s).
  • Candidates must provide and meet all technical requirements before the first day of training.
  • Hybrids - Candidates must live within driving distance of the office location and be able to commute to and from the office location as needed regularly.

  • Experience in the Credit Union industry is a plus.
  • Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

  • Lead Community Financial Centers (CFCs) to achieve sales and revenue goals.
  • Deliver an outstanding member experience.
  • Drive growth and navigate change management.
  • Support the team in helping members achieve their financial goals.
  • Lead a team of Managers toward the achievement of sales, service, and revenue goals.
  • Ensure the optimal member experience is delivered.
  • Oversee and manage branch operations, human resource, and performance management.
  • Actively support the team in targeted community activities and market involvement.
  • Act as an active member of the community at the district level, promoting GTE Financial and its products/services.
  • Provide direction consistent with GTE’s Vision, Mission, and Values.
  • Strengthen GTE’s brand, increase market share and member share of wallet.
  • Ensure flawless execution of organizational strategies, initiatives, and changes.
  • Embrace change and translate strategy into action to build commitment and enthusiasm at the branch level.
  • Conduct routine visits to CFCs to track and understand the direct market and staffing needs.
  • Establish sales and revenue plans and objectives, managing for results by defining high expectations for self and branch teams.
  • Lead and manage the sales and revenue planning process, adjusting plans and forecasts as required to ensure the district meets or exceeds all performance goals.
  • Coach, develop, and mentor managers and branch staff, equipping them with sales, service, and advice skills to deliver holistic advice and guidance to members.
  • Promote a culture of ongoing feedback, performance, and development discussions to enhance employee engagement and improve retention.
  • Routinely coach using Integrity Coaching principles and Member Advantage philosophy, evaluate progress, and provide frequent and timely feedback.
  • Focus on business development opportunities in their districts.
  • Help GTE Financial’s brand awareness and work to own the community served.
  • Develop and enable an engaged, capable, and confident management team to implement programs and processes focused on building deep relationships with members.
  • Actively seek opportunities to recognize staff and share best practices.
  • Lead and support the successful roll-out of new products, services, and initiatives.
  • Partner with the Vice President of Branch Operations, Vice President of Business Banking, and other leaders to maximize district and branch-level opportunity.
  • Develop and execute a deposit strategy to exceed growth goals in terms of deposit growth and cost of funds.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales goals and expand the member base, including active prospecting.
  • Maintain and adhere to risk management policy and procedures, ensuring managers and teams are up-to-date and in compliance.
  • Demonstrate functional knowledge of The Bank Secrecy Act, U.S. Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets & Control, Anti-Money Laundering, Right to Financial Privacy Act, and The Bank Bribery Act.
