Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlace Your role at Clorox: The Commercial Lead serves as the commercial steward for pillar comprised of 2-3 BUs, driving commercial strategy and execution excellence. This senior leadership role reports to a General Manager and leads the pillar’s commercial organization, coordinating closely with cross-functional peers in Finance, Supply Chain, IBP, and R&D, and center functions, including central Finance and Sales teams. The Commercial Lead serves as a critical orchestrator of Marketing Strategy & Innovation, Marketing Activation, and Sales teams through direct-reporting oversight. Owns 5Ps. In this role, you will: Commercial Leadership Lead the commercial organization for pillar (2 BUs) Drive commercial strategy execution and coordinate cross-functionally with Finance, Supply Chain, IBP, and R&D teams Serve as the commercial decision-maker and "one nose to touch" for commercial aspects of the business Cross-Functional Integration Partner closely with cross-functional teams that report to the General Manager (Finance, Supply Chain, IBP, R&D) Align commercial plans with broader pillar strategic priorities and operational capabilities Collaborate on demand forecasting with IBP lead Ensure commercial strategies are aligned with supply planning and financial targets Growth Accountability Serve as base business management lead for Category & Consumer Develop commercial building blocks for long-term growth strategies Commercial Strategy & Innovation Oversee Marketing Strategy & Innovation teams in identifying white space opportunities and consumer trends Collaborate with R&D to prioritize and commercialize new products Guide commercial implementation of Trade/Promo Optimization, Mix, and Terms initiatives Ensure commercial readiness for new product launches and innovations Customer & Channel Strategy Oversee Sales teams (Category SP and Customer SP) to develop differentiated strategies for key customers and channels Guide joint business planning with retail partners Accelerate growth by scaling customer signals and developing joint strategies Ensure aligned execution across sales, marketing activation, and innovation teams Performance Management Establish and track commercial KPIs to measure business health Provide commercial insights and analytics to inform business decisions Represent pillar’s E2E commercial Primary Objectives and Metrics Owns product innovation, price, placement, promotion and packaging (5 Ps) Drive sustainable, profitable growth for pillar Ensure cross-functional alignment between commercial teams and other functions reporting to the General Manager Develop and execute commercial components of 3-year strategic plans and annual operating plans Optimize marketing investment ROI and drive brand equity growth Accelerate customer growth through strategic partnerships and joint business planning Build commercial capabilities and foster a high-performance, collaborative culture Deliver against commercial performance metrics (revenue, market share, brand health)

Responsibilities
