We are seeking a top-notch business strategy leader who can lead high-priority commercial initiatives/processes of cross-commercial nature that deliver revenue growth. This leader will be a direct report to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and a member of the Commercial Senior Leadership Team. This leader will primarily deliver the following: Commercial Strategy: Take on complex commercial strategic opportunities and lead them from conceptualization through to execution — including defining the opportunity statement, working cross-functionally to deliver possible solutions, and then partnering with leaders across the organization to deliver on the prescribed strategy. Commercial Effectiveness: Deliver Commercial Process improvements that enable us to work better together as a Commercial team, including driving the agenda for our Quarterly Commercial offsites, leading the execution of our employee engagement strategies, and fine-tuning the process to manage and execute on our Business Plan Executive Storyteller: Be the leader that makes the Commercial leaders shine in front of the Board and the rest of the organization through appropriate storytelling, including storyboarding our Commercial Strategy, and our pathway to execute on it, as well as manage the Commercial Board decks. The ideal candidate can devise business strategies to solve complex commercial problems (Brand, Product, Marketing, Pricing, Customer Segments, Go-to-market, etc.), has exceptional story telling skills (especially written communication/deck story telling), and can work seamlessly alongside other members of the Commercial Senior Leadership Team. This leader will hire and lead another junior team member who will manage a lot of the tactical work entailed.
