About The Position

The Vice President, Cloud Infrastructure provides strategic leadership and operational excellence across enterprise infrastructure capabilities, spanning cloud and physical/on premises infrastructure. The VP will drive a multi-year roadmap to improve reliability, resiliency, security, and cost efficiency—while enabling teams across the enterprise to build and run critical applications and services. This role partners closely with Technology, Cybersecurity, and Business leaders to deliver modern infrastructure services, manage vendor relationships, and ensure tested resiliency plans and effective response to outages and issues.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience leading enterprise infrastructure organizations across cloud and/or on‑premises platforms and large-scale operations.
  • Proven executive leadership: building vision, mobilizing teams, prioritizing work, and delivering outcomes across multiple functions.
  • Strong relationship management and influence skills with senior stakeholders across Technology, Cyber, and business teams.
  • Track record of driving change initiatives and executing organizational change management at senior levels.
  • Demonstrated success improving reliability and resiliency through operational maturity and tested recovery practices.
  • Experience managing major vendor relationships and complex technology portfolios with cost accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of a long-term infrastructure strategy covering cloud and on-premises hosting, aligning technical capabilities to business outcomes.
  • Define a multi-year roadmap that balances resiliency, cost, and simplicity, and drives adoption of standardized platforms and services.
  • Establish clear service ownership, SLOs/SLAs, and metrics for availability, performance, capacity, and cost transparency.
  • Manage key cloud/vendor relationships and guide decisions that optimize cost, risk, and performance across the infrastructure portfolio.
  • Improve financial accountability through unit economics, consumption governance, vendor performance reviews, and portfolio rationalization.
  • Partner with cybersecurity leaders to implement pragmatic infrastructure controls and recovery capabilities (e.g., ransomware defense and directory recoverability patterns where applicable).
  • Ensure infrastructure risk is understood, prioritized, and actively managed across vulnerabilities, resiliency, vendor, and operational risks.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing infrastructure organization, balancing technology, process, and customer experience while improving execution discipline.
  • Model enterprise leadership behaviors including curiosity, humility, critical thinking, innovation, and a risk‑managed (not risk‑avoiding) mindset.
