About The Position

The VP/Chair of Clinical Care will oversee Divisional Chiefs in Clinical Specialties. Their focus will be on clinical quality, human resources, risk management, JMMG Policies, and specialty specific issues around the totality of clinical care. The VP/Chair will coordinate clinical care delivery across specialties within JMMG and clinical groups external to JMMG. JMMG Executive priority is to pursue the underlying community health mission by managing the complexity of the organization with its many stakeholders. The scope of services provided by JMMG includes direct clinical service staffing, management operations and strategic partnerships. VP/Chair will be expected to undergo Lean process management training. The VP/Chair must maintain a productive and positive partnership with JMH/JMHPN. A partnership that is more valuable than contract terms will enable mutual success. Role to include administrative and clinical work. Admin FTE .80 FTE (32 hrs/week) and Clinical FTE: minimum 0.2 and maximum 0.3 (hours vary based on inpatient vs. outpatient). Hybrid role that requires weekly in office presence. Requirements

  • MD/DO degree with current Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Palliative Care, or Endocrinology REQUIRED
  • Active CA Medical License REQUIRED
  • 5 years of leadership experience strongly preferred
