  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with bank and lending counterparties.
  • Experience negotiating and structuring subscription line facilities; NAV facility or asset-backed facility exposure a plus.
  • Strong financial modeling, borrowing base, and covenant analysis skills.
  • Solid understanding of private market strategies, fund structures, and asset valuation methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a polished, professional presence in front of management and external counterparties.

  • Draft and refine term sheets and financing documentation for subscription line transactions, ensuring alignment with Hamilton Lane's risk and operational standards.
  • Monitor credit market conditions, interest rate trends, and lender appetite specific to subscription line financing.
  • Serve as a primary relationship contact for subscription line lenders, building trust and credibility with bank counterparties over time.

  • Oversee the execution, renewal, and compliance of treasury-related facilities and arrangements, ensuring accurate drawdowns/paydowns, covenant tracking, and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Maintain and enhance policies, procedures, and internal controls that provide an appropriate control environment over treasury activities and support audit readiness.
  • Develop and maintain treasury and financing models, dashboards, and reporting packages that provide insight into cash, capital, and credit utilization for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare or oversee cash and capital trend analyses and key treasury metrics to inform management decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Support the Principal in structuring and executing NAV facilities, asset-backed structures, and other strategic credit arrangements.
  • Support evaluation of alternative financing structures (e.g., securitizations, private credit solutions, hybrid facilities) to enhance flexibility and cost efficiency.
  • Assist in coordinating with fundraising and investor relations teams to assess how financing solutions impact investor returns and product competitiveness.
  • Support borrowing base calculations, covenant monitoring, and compliance certificate preparation across facilities; the Principal retains ultimate ownership of the reporting and compliance function.
