About The Position

Fox Corporation’s Ad Sales organization is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to help drive the next generation of revenue growth initiatives across News, Sports, and Entertainment. This role will work closely with the SVP of Business Development and senior leadership to help define where Fox should take bold strategic swings, and then shepherd those initiatives from concept through cross-functional alignment, approval, early execution, launch, and handoff. This position is focused on emerging business lines and monetization strategies, including commerce integrations, white-label partnerships, revenue arbitrage models, and bottom-of-funnel monetization opportunities designed to grow ARPU and unlock material new value. The VP will serve as the quarterback for these emerging businesses while simultaneously aligning stakeholders across Ad Sales, Business Units, Product, Finance, Legal, Operations, and other teams to turn high-potential ideas into scalable, revenue-generating businesses. Success in this role requires exceptional communication, sound judgment, strong prioritization, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in business development, corporate strategy, consulting, digital media, advertising, or related growth roles.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Experience launching or incubating new initiatives and driving them through to execution.
  • Ability to build clear, practical financial models that represent the economics of new opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of advertising ecosystems, digital monetization models, and evolving consumer behavior.
  • Exceptional communication skills and executive presence.
  • Proven ability to influence and align senior stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong prioritization skills and sound business judgment.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity while maintaining forward momentum.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leadership and Business Units to identify and evaluate where Fox should take meaningful, forward-looking revenue swings.
  • Develop new business lines and monetization strategies across News, Sports, and Entertainment.
  • Evaluate commerce opportunities, white-label models, revenue arbitrage structures, and other non-traditional growth initiatives.
  • Assess market dynamics, consumer behavior, and competitive forces to determine what will resonate and scale.
  • Construct clear, logic-driven financial models to assess opportunity size, feasibility, and return potential.
  • Translate early-stage concepts into structured, actionable business plans and narratives.
  • Build consensus and secure buy-in across multiple Business Units while respecting ownership and decision rights.
  • Shepherd initiatives from ideation through approval and into early-stage development.
  • Partner across Ad Sales, Product, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Business Units to ensure operational readiness and launch execution.
  • Assist in transitioning initiatives to long-term owners post-launch.
  • Ruthlessly prioritize a limited number of material revenue drivers rather than incremental efforts.
