About The Position

Madhive is the leading independent and fully customizable operating system built to help local media professionals build profitable, differentiated, and efficient businesses. Madhive empowers sales teams to extend their reach into streaming and connects local advertisers with the communities they serve. Madhive’s platform provides the unique ability to reach local audiences at national scale, with premium supply partnerships and end-to-end tools for planning, targeting, and measuring full-funnel campaign outcomes. Powering campaigns for over 30,000 small and medium businesses per day, Madhive is driving the evolution of local media. Madhive is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Marketing to join our marketing team. This pivotal role will be responsible for building a department clearly focused on accelerating go-to-market clarity to further drive sales team confidence and revenue upside. This is a key leadership role reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer. The ideal candidate is able to work a hybrid schedule out of our NYC headquarters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field is desired.
• 10-15 years of professional marketing experience and at least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role
• Deep understanding of the ad-tech ecosystem
• Must have deep knowledge and passion for streaming content and video advertising products and technologies; experience in enterprise/B2B software a plus
• You are a change agent: see ‘ambiguity’ as an opportunity as opposed to a hurdle, and thrive on challenging yourself to push beyond conventional thinking.
• Well-connected within the industry, staying abreast of the latest trends and best practices.
• A visionary with a driven personality – not only highly analytical and strategic but also creative and hands-on in nature
• Proven experience hiring, motivating, and mentoring a high-performing marketing team
• Proven experience and success across all disciplines of marketing (product, branding, strategy, social media, communications, business development)
• Demonstrable experience in positioning a company in a competitive market and winning market share

Responsibilities

• Develop and own growth strategies, communications, and marketing content for all MadHive constituencies
• Develop the vision for the MadHive brand in conjunction with internal operating groups and senior leaders
• Hire, train, structure, and budget the MadHive marketing group for scale and success
• Support the Client Success Organization, Product, and Corp Dev teams in their efforts to develop revenue, features, and strategy
• Design and develop materials for all internal groups to use with appropriate prospects and partners
• Design and execute marketing campaigns to define MadHive’s unique values in a complex competitive environment
• Plan, organize, and execute marketing events aimed at all MadHive prospects
• Produce high-quality content and thought leadership for our customers, such as Market Surveys, Webinars, Whitepaper, Case Studies, Blog, Videos, etc.
• Measure the performance of all activities and campaigns, and assess them against goals (ROI, Key Performance Indicators), and adjust strategy & execution to achieve goals
• Continue to establish MadHive as a unique innovator and “brand” in the ad-tech space

Benefits

• The approximate compensation range for this position is $180,000 - $210,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors, including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
