About The Position

Join Barclays as a VP - ACH Product Manager, where you will maximize the value of Barclays' real-time payments portfolio by defining a clear product vision, developing and prioritizing the product roadmap, and delivering innovative payment solutions that support the evolving needs of Corporate Banking clients. You will be accountable for the end-to-end lifecycle management of Barclays' instant payment capabilities, including The Clearing House RTP Network and the Federal Reserve's FedNow Service. You will serve as the voice of the customer and business while working closely with Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Financial Crime, Treasury Services, Sales, and industry stakeholder to support broader payment modernization objectives.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of ACH payments, domestic payment processing, and corporate treasury workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of NACHA Operating Rules, ACH network requirements, return processes, and exception handling.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Payments products including ACH, Wire, Check, RTP/FedNow, and related client workflows.
  • Knowledge of payments connectivity standards including NACHA file formats, APIs, host-to-host connectivity, and ISO 20022 initiatives.
  • Financial services experience with strong knowledge of Corporate Banking and Transaction Banking products.
  • Proven track record of owning and delivering strategic product initiatives.
  • Experience developing and managing product roadmaps and product backlogs.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, design thinking, and modern product management practices.
  • Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving capabilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing ACH products within a large transaction banking or corporate banking environment.
  • Knowledge of instant payments, payment modernization initiatives, and emerging payment rails.
  • Experience working with FinTechs, ERP providers, treasury workstations, and digital platforms.
  • Familiarity with APIs, embedded finance, and modern payment infrastructures.
  • SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) certification.
  • Project and change management expertise.
  • Experience developing product business cases, pricing strategies, and financial models.
  • Understanding of AML, sanctions, fraud management, operational resiliency, and third-party risk frameworks.
  • Knowledge of RTP, FedNow, and future payment ecosystem developments.

Responsibilities

  • Provision of SME expertise on specific products and services to customers and colleagues, including features, functionalities, benefits, limitations, risks and compliance.
  • Identification of market trends, new features, regulatory requirements and potential risks, and analysis of data obtained from sales figures and, customer feedback, to support the product development process, and communicate key findings to relevant stakeholders to improve product offerings.
  • Response to customer inquiries, resolution of issues, and provision of guidance on product usage.
  • Presentation of the advantages and features of the product to potential customers, building trust and encouraging adoption.
  • Assistance with the development and execution of marketing materials for the product, such as brochures, presentations, and online content.
  • Participation in training sessions and workshops to share product knowledge and expertise with colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Participation in events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to showcase the product and generate interest.
  • Contribute or set strategy, drive requirements and make recommendations for change.
  • Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/ processes; deliver continuous improvements and escalate breaches of policies/procedures.
