About The Position

Unpaid volunteer contributing time to Intermountain Healthcare in various roles. Our dedicated volunteers provide countless hours of exceptional service to patients, visitors, and staff. They are an integral part of our St. George Regional Hospital family, providing valuable support in a variety of departments throughout the hospital. This is an unpaid volunteer position that gives you the opportunity to use your talents, meet new people and experience the pleasure that comes from making a difference in people’s lives.

Requirements

  • Six-month commitment, with a minimum of presenting for a 3-4 hour shift each week, exceptions being for vacation or illness
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Able to work alone and independently
  • Good communication and listening skills
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work with diverse populations
  • Physical mobility (walking, bending, standing)
  • Adequate hearing and vision
  • Sensitive to patient and family situations
  • Pass a background check
  • Agree to get a TB test
  • Meet Immunization compliance
