About The Position
The Volunteer Soccer Coach is a hands-on role that will lead a team of young athletes and provides expert instruction. The Volunteer Coach is directly responsible for providing the i9 Sports Experience and driving a positive youth sports culture on the field. Join us in creating an energetic environment where community members can enjoy healthy competition while developing vital life skills. Your dedication will help promote active lifestyles through organized sports programs that emphasize safety, fairness, and fun! With over 3.5 million registrations in communities across the country, i9 Sports is the nation's largest multi-sport provider focused solely on high-quality, community-based youth sports programs. We offer youth sports leagues, camps and clinics for kids ages 3 and up in today's most popular sports such as: flag football, soccer, basketball, baseball, volleyball, and lacrosse. Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Sport-specific experience & knowledge
- Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently
- Ability to volunteer at least 1 day a week (Saturday or Sunday) for at least 2 hour during a 7 week season
Responsibilities
- Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
- Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
- With the help of established platforms, communicate game day information to players and parents
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
