About The Position

Coastal Hospice invites you to join a team of caregivers who are committed to promoting dignity and quality of life for patients and families who face life-limiting conditions. In your role as a _Volunteer Services Coordinator____, you will help ensure that every patient and family is honored, supported and comforted as they receive the right care at the right time throughout their journey by: Essential Functions: Assigns volunteers to duties fitting their interests, training, and capabilities to include, but not limited to, patient visits and administrative work Assists with recruiting, orienting, training, and coordination of volunteers for all programs of the organization Maintains and updates volunteer files to assure compliance with Medicare, State of Maryland, The Joint Commission, and other regulatory, funding, or accrediting organizations Assists with implementing processes to recognize volunteers Coordinates volunteer activities for We Honor Veterans presentations Supports Volunteer Services by maintaining volunteer records, supplies, and equipment, and supports the organization by ensuring admissions materials are copied and assembled Driver’s License in your state of residence with a good driving record and access to a reliable automobile Must possess automobile insurance coverage with minimum limits of $100,000/$300,000

Requirements

High School Education or equivalent
Two years’ experience in an office setting, customer service, or related field
Driver’s License in your state of residence with a good driving record and access to a reliable automobile
Must possess automobile insurance coverage with minimum limits of $100,000/$300,000
