In this role, the Volunteer and Events Coordinator is responsible for the management of SAHA’s Volunteer Program’s day-to-day operations, including recruitment, placement, training, and retention of volunteers for SAHA's programs and events. Additionally, the Volunteer and Events Coordinator (VEC) works closely with the Resident Services Supervisor in planning and executing events, special projects, and providing operational support to the department. The Resident Services department provides individualized services and community programs that build skills, create connections, and bring opportunities that address inequity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of SAHA’s residents and the surrounding community. An initiator and collaborator, the Volunteer and Events Coordinator builds and maintains ongoing positive and supportive working relationships with volunteers, colleagues, community organizations, and residents to fulfill SAHA’s mission.
