The Volunteer Engagement Coordinator I is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing volunteer engagement strategies that support volunteer recruitment, onboarding, placement, retention, and overall volunteer success throughout Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains (GSTOP). This position collaborates with volunteers, troop leaders, members, caregivers, and staff to ensure a positive and seamless volunteer experience from recruitment through ongoing engagement and support. The Volunteer Engagement Coordinator I supports volunteer placement, onboarding, training coordination, and member-to-troop connections while providing responsive customer service and guidance to volunteers and families. This position helps ensure volunteers receive the resources, information, and support needed to deliver a high-quality Girl Scout Leadership Experience and that girls are successfully connected to meaningful Girl Scout opportunities. This position evaluates volunteer and member needs, recommends solutions, manages stakeholder relationships, and collaborates with the Regional Manager on matters impacting volunteer experience, member engagement, and regional priorities.
