About The Position
The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for implementing and maintaining the volunteer program. This role involves communicating and working with all departments to determine volunteer needs within the community, as well as recruiting, interviewing, and supervising on-site volunteers to ensure they understand their reporting structure for issues and events.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with the elderly, long term care and/or healthcare.
- Experience coordinating volunteer programs, marketing or public relations.
Responsibilities
- Communicates and works with all departments to determine the volunteer needs within the community.
- Recruits, interviews, and supervises on-site volunteers to ensure they understand what to report and who to report to when issues/events arise.
