Clinton Health Access Initiative,

About The Position

The Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. (CHAI) is a global health organization committed to saving lives and reducing the burden of disease in low- and middle-income countries. CHAI works at the invitation of governments to support them and the private sector in creating and sustaining high-quality health systems. Founded in 2002 to address the HIV/AIDS epidemic, CHAI has expanded its focus to include infectious diseases like COVID-19, malaria, tuberculosis, and hepatitis, as well as non-communicable diseases such as cancer, diabetes, and hypertension. The organization also works to accelerate vaccine rollouts, reduce maternal and child mortality, combat chronic malnutrition, and increase access to assistive technology. CHAI invests in horizontal approaches to strengthen health systems through programs in human resources for health, digital health, and health financing. Their strategy emphasizes maximizing sustainable impact at scale, ensuring government leadership, designing programs for national scale, and sharing learnings globally. CHAI values its diverse team of enthusiastic individuals across 40 countries and is committed to providing equal employment opportunities, valuing diversity and inclusion.
